This Birch Side Table bears an uncanny resemblance to the Componibili Storage Unit featured not so long ago. It has the same sleek curves, just fashioned out of wood. These aren’t made by Kartell , but by Villalescatole whose designer Naoko Shintani certainly owes a debt to Anna Castellis Ferrieri.
Anyway, it is still a good looking piece of furniture and being made from wood, it will perhaps fit better in bedrooms as a bedside table than the original metal Componibili units.
