Alessi Alessandro M. corkscrew was only designed a few years ago but is already a design favourite. The original is cute but now Panik are selling a number of Limited Edition Alessandro M. corkscrews.
Pictured here is my favourite, Ed Rock, the familiar corkscrew man dressed as a quintessential 60s rock star complete with shades and a psychedelic patterned guitar. For a more seventies touch, there is the Honolulu edition, dressed in a garish Hawaiian shirt and flower garland. Comic book fans may prefer the Superman version.
Prices range from approximately £39 to £60 depending on the exact design.
