Steel Cake is a new watch company out of New York, the brain child of designer Matthew Burnett and co-founder James Nelson. And their initial range of watches includes this rather smart 70s-style Tank watch.
I’m guessing ‘Tank’ because of the amount of armour on display here, with the watch face squeezed into a very chunky stainless steel bracelet and brushed steel surround. The watch has a quartz movement, is water-resistant to 100m and has a smart traditional face.
Available online, you can pick one up for $215 (around £110).
