Le Tramac sells antique and vintage furniture that has been reconditioned and hand-painted or reupholstered in unusual ways. Putting aside the over-the-top spiel on the website which describes their creations as “mischievous” and “ingenious”, their furniture pretty good.
Of particular note is their Bauhaus collection, inspired by the design movement of the same name. The pieces in the collection include a side table, chairs, shelving and a mirror. Each piece is designed around the principles of simple lines and primary colours. These pieces don’t come cheaply – the table pictured here costs £370.
To view the full collection, visit the Le Tramac website or if you in the area, they have a showroom in Soho.
