Alessi has selected what it believes are its design icons from that past 60 years and reissued them as the Alessi Miniature range.
As the name suggests, these are small-sized replicas of these notable designs, reproduced with every detail intact. The range starts with the Bombe teapot from Carlo Alessi (first introduced in 1945) and goes through to the fairly recent Mami stockpot by Stefano Giovannoni (2003).
Prices vary, but start at around £16 – so a fairly inexpensive collection to build.
