Danish design Hans Wegner only died in 2007, leaving behind a legacy of decades of design and dozens of chairs. Continuing to be one of his most popular designs is the Wishbone Chair which he designed for Carl Hanson & Son back in 1959.
Also known as the Y-chair (on account of the distinctive Y shape in the back rest), it is available in a choice of natural beech or black lacquer. It is probably best used as a dining chair, although its understated design mean it can be used pretty much anywhere.
