Not the first of this kind of turntable, but a mix of retro looks and Numark’s know-how could make the PT-01USB turntable a winner.
The deck has USB connectivity and works with both PC and Mac, offering mains and battery power, a built-in monitoring speaker, +/- 10% pitch control, belt-drive motor with 33, 45 and 78 RPM settings, stereo RCA line output and headphone jack plus Numark’s EZ Vinyl Converter 2 software, making it easy to convert your tracks and drop into iTunes.
Also included is a phono cartridge, USB cable and 45 RPM adapter. No news of a price as yet, but expect it in the third quarter of 2008.
