Amazingly, this was classed as ‘sportswear’ back in the day – and this repro cardigan still has the ‘Levi Strauss Sportswear’ label to prove it. Thee days, it’s just a big chunky sweater in a light grey fisherman’s hook knit and made of 100 per cent wool, finished off with five large buttons and pockets.
