On first impressions, it might look like a mid-century piece, but the Cherner dining table is actually a modern design.
The work of Benjamin Cherner and available in round, rectangular or oval shapes, with Aalto-like curved legs, these US-made tables are available in walnut or beech and designed to go with the equally stylish Cherner side chairs or armchairs.
This kind of stye doesn’t come cheap though – prices start at £1,637 for the dining tables, while the chairs start at £550. Just think of it as an investment in a future design classic.
