A mid-century classic is back on the high street – the Pierre Paulin Tanis desk.
It’s been reissued by Ligne Roset, which has re-created the desk in almost exact detail. Originally designed back in 1954, the desk actually references the earlier functional design of Bauhaus, featuring a black lacquered steel frame, a black or white Corian writing surface and a block of two drawers, finished in natural walnut veneer.
