Some years back, I saw and passed over a set of Gianfranco Frattini nesting tables on a car boot sale for not a lot of cash. Judging by the price of a new set, that was a rather foolish move.
Designed back in 1966 and still in production by Cassina, the 780/783 nesting tables (different numbers for different sizes) are four circular occasional tables, all with a beechwood frame and a choice of black, white or natural lacquering, finished off with a reversible plastic laminate top.
Pull them out when you need them, slot them together if you want to store all four. Prices start at £934.
