Launched in 1945, “Arts and Architecture” was a groundbreaking journal that covered not only art and architecture, but also music, design, politics and social issues. Taschen has now re-issued the publications from 1945 to 1954 as a special set of ten boxes, each containing one year’s magazines.
It is limited to 5000 numbered copies and costs £400 (hence the warning above), but it is sure to give a fascinating insight into the designs and ideas of the period.
