We’re being spoiled a bit by Brionvega right now – not content with bringing back the classic RR226 audio system, we now have the re-introduction of the equally-classic Brionvega RR227 radio.
Originally produced in 1965 by the design team of Zanuso and Sapper, a radio that looks good whether you use it horizontally or vertically – indeed it’s designed to be used both ways.
The new version does give a nod to the modern era with the addition of an SD card reader and USB connectivity, as well as a modern-day price tag. Although saying that, it’s not overpriced for a design classic – yours for around £123.
