Turn1

Not the biggest house on the market, but if you want to spend time in one of the most important mid-century houses in the UK, you can by renting The Turn.

The Turn is a two-bedroom property that forms part of a group of a trio of houses designed and built by the renowned architect Peter Aldington in 1964 – 67, their importance obvious with the grade II listing (like the majority of the Aldington residential designs).

Turn2
For your money, you get a single-storey house that has two double bedrooms, a kitchen / dining room, a bathroom and a living room, along with a large storage space reached by a ladder, and a small internal courtyard. The house comes with its own private garden, the maintenance of which is included in the rental price. And it's also unfurnished, although there is much 'period' built-in furniture and fittings to enjoy.

Check out the website for more in the way of images and background, then get on the phone quickly – at £875 per month, this is likely to be snapped up very quickly.
