Another bright and cheerful retro inspired product is this perspex bangle, designed by Nicholas King. This is from King's debut solo jewellery collection, although he has previously worked alongside the likes of John Galliano and Donna Karan.
The material immediately recalls sixties space age fashion and is kept looking fresh through the irregular shape of the design. Though it looks quite mechanical this bangle is actually hand-made in the UK. It's not a piece for people who like subtle jewellery, as the size – 114mm at its widest point – and the colour make it instantly noticeable. If hot pink doesn't appeal, it's also available in (no less obvious) lime and orange.
