An 80s design with a modernist look, now reissued in 2009 – the Richard Sapper Jubilee Kettle for Alessi.
Jubilee because the design has celebrated 25 years of production, first designed in 1983, with this version a collector's piece for 2008 (although it's only just gone on sale in 2009). For your money you get Alessi's first-ever designer kettle, this time a limited edition (numbered), with a stainless steel mirror polished finish, a brass whistle and contrast black handle.
Ok, it's not the most convenient kettle to use, but it's certainly one of the most stylish. Yours for £110.
