The Vipp range of classic bins have profiled before on this site: they've been holding rubbish in style since 1939 when they were designed by Holger Nielsen. Normally they are white, cream or black in colour but for summer 2009 they've produced a limited edition Yellow Cab version. This optimistic yellow is inspired by the distinctive colour of NYC's taxis.
The image shows the Vipp 14 model which will hold 8 litres of rubbish, costs £145 and certainly offers one way of adding a touch of sunshine to your kitchen.
