In an age of corporate blandness it's nice to be reminded of attractive logos, the one shown in the print above being a pretty attractive example. It's the logo for Marilyn Neuhart's Hand Press which is now being sold as a print in its own right by House Industries.
The Hand Press was launched in 1957 by Marilyn and John Neuhart as a small printing business. Appropriate to the name, the logo uses various blocks to make up the shape of a hand, apparently made on Marilyn's own hand.
The House Industries' version is also hand-printed and costs $35.
