Inspired by a classic, but for the price of a takeaway – the Karlsson Station alarm clock is a very affordable piece of timeless design.
Look familiar? Well, it should do – this is almost an exact replica of the classic Mondaine Railway Clock, which was designed by Swiss railway employee Hans Hilfiker in the 1940s for Switzerland's railway stations.
The Station alarm clock has much the same design, but is encased in brushed steel and sized at just 9cm across. Small size, but a small price of just £12.50 – which is considerably cheaper than the travel version of the Mondaine Clock, which will set you back around £125.
