The recently-departed Pierre Paulin reworked some old designs and introduced some new ones just before his death, the Lupo table being one of the latter.
This Scandinavian-inspired piece was actually one of Paulin's first designs, way back in 1953, but still looks every bit the modern table with its geometric shape, angled legs and cut-out 'handles' on the tray-like top, making it portable as well as stylish.
Constructed from black stained oak, it sells for £635.
