Stowa

Stowa was one of the few companies making watches for pilots back in the 1940s and you know what? The German watchmaker is still making them in much the same style, unsurprisingly going by the name of the Stowa Pilot Watch.

Updated internally by the addition of an automatic ETA 2824-2 movement, the watch is faithful to the original design cosmetically, with a sapphire glass convex cover, stainless steel polished frame, a brown leather strap and a dial and hands that use a special phosphorescent paint for viewing in the dark for as many years as you can imagine.

Available online, you can pick up a Stowa Pilot Watch for just over £500.
