Here's a modernist gem that has passed us by over the years – the Cassina LC1 armchair by Le Corbusier.
A stylish number that still looks sharp over 80 years since its debut (back in 1928), it's essentially a sling chair with polished chrome plated steel frame, the seating and back in ponyskin or cowskin (with black leather arms) or black leather for the whole chair.
Timeless and unlikely to age for some years to come, it sells for £1,285.
