A modernist classic that's almost 80 years old, yet the Piet Hein Ra pendant lamp still has some cutting edge looks.
One of Hein's first designs, it was initiated back in 1931 and still exudes that modernist charm. Indeed, this reissue is based on those original drawings, but in new materials and new, bolder colours like the red above. Clever too – with the bulb actually covered, it doesn't glare, rather it 'illuminates' the room with a warm glow.
If you want to brighten up your living room for one, the Ra pendant lamp sells for £529.
