We love Minox, primarily for the classic 1960s DSC spy camera. But that could be replaced in our affections by the Minox DCC 5.1.
It's a small-scale replica of a vintage 35mm rangefinder camera, offering up modern-day essentials including a five-megapixel sensor, a 2-inch LCD screen, video recording in AVI format, rechargeable lithium-ion battery and an SD card slot. Some other neat touches too, including a 50s-style chrome-plated brass lens cap and add-ons like a leather case and a teleconverter and a wide-angle converter, not to mention a super-sized flash.
Sold in a stylish wooden box, it's yours for 229 Euros from April. For an idea of scale, see the image over the page.
