An interesting and distinctive piece of design from the 1950s – the Cassina Tre Pezzi lounge chair by Franco Albini.
It was first seen back in 1959 and was described as a modern interpretation of a classic 18th century French style bergére. So a retro piece even back then, if you like. It's made up of three elements, composed of three elements – the deep seat, the back support ring and the half-moon headrest, with a frame made of tubular steel and upholstery in fabric or leather.
Obviously the latter will impact on the final price, but the chair sell from around £1,872.
