The 1950s were a golden age for London Transport. The Routemaster bus was introduced into service in 1959, whilst the classic FX4 London black cab was launched in 1958. Both have now been celebrated in the form of Iconic London Transport Bookends designed by Susan Bradley.
The bookends are made from powdercoated steel, with the Routemaster design being in the red and the FX4 cab design, obviously, being in black.
Both cost £18 each and can be bought online from the London Transport Museum shop.
