It's need of some work, but this Austin Mini Designer – Mary Quant Special Edition could be a collectible of the future.
It first appeared in 1989, Mary Quant designing the detail of the Mini including the badge and steering wheel with her trademark daisy, while the cloth for the seats even got her own distinctive twist.
This particular model has been stored in a farm building for 8 years and not been driven for 9 years. So from that, you can assume it needs some care and attention, particularly with rust. Aside from that, almost everything (sound system apart) are original and in decent condition, with 70,000 miles on the clock.
So a project rather than being ready to go, but at £410 with less than two days to go, it's an affordable project.
