At first you'd be forgiven for thinking Heal's City cupboard is simply inspired by mid-century looks. That influence is obvious, but this design is also described as 'a mixture of contemporary and retro styling', giving a twist to the look.
That's because while the doors are are made from cut walnut veneer and the feet are solid walnut, the actual cupboard is made from white lacquer. I'm not totally convinced by the combination (and think I would have preferred just a walnut cupboard) but, if you like this juxtaposition of looks, there's also an accompanying sideboard available.
The City cupboard will set you back £1495.

Well, I for one am delighted that it’s not purely a walnut cupboard… With the white lacquered elements, I won’t be tempted to try to find a spare £1495!
Heals, my bank balance thanks you. This time.
