We have featured the Veja brand before, a Fairtrade company that produces really cool retro-styled footwear. The Veja Volley is the company's latest addition.
Available in two colourways, the Veja Volley is apparently inspired by a Brazilian trainer from the 1970s and has an organic cotton canvas upper and an Amazonian rubber sole, the style and detailing kept to a mimimum for something simple and stylish.
You can see the other colour option over the page, with both pairs selling for £70.
Please note: Retailer End Clothing has just told us that it is currently doing free shipping worldwide on everything it sells for the next 72 hours – so if you are after some new clobber, check out its site now.

The original is indeed a Brazilian trainer from the 70’s, called the Rainha Volley. It is still being made today, and retails for a really low price here. It was, for some time – including the 1984 Olympics – the Brazilian volleyball national team’s official shoe.
