A new addition to the Conran Classics Range, the Belton Pinstripe Armchair is the modern incarnation of that quintessentially British piece of furniture, the Lloyd Loom Chair.
Despite the fact that these chairs are synonymous with British 1930's chic, the creator of Lloyd Loom was in fact an American, who invented the manufacturing process of wrapping paper around wire and weaving the resulting strips together to create this attractive and durable furniture.
The Belton Pinstripe combines black and white strands to create a more modern look that updates this classic piece for today.
The chair costs £330 from The Conran Shop.
