Only 13,000 cars were ever made, and were originally designed as track cars. The GT6 has a 2LTR 6 cylinder engine that far exceeds the 1.3 LTR Spitfire, and has upgraded suspension and brakes. The GT6 also tend to suffer from less rust problems than the spitfires, and this car is also protected by an anti rust product.
Being a hardtop car can be driven all year round. This GT6 has also been converted to take unleaded fuel.
