Not one of our finds, this is credited to Andrew Graham, who spotted this Guzzini Baobab lamp by Ufficio Progetti despite its misleading title.
The lamp certainly isn't a Joe Colombo design, despite what the listing says, although you can see why this 1978 Italian design would have been associated with the great man.
Anyway, back to the lamp, which could be a potential steal. Standing 25 inches tall and around 18 inches wide, it has a large spherical shade made of a high pressure moulded opal acrylic, with the conical base constructed from a powder coated metal. Inside, there's room for two bulbs.
In excellent condition, according to the seller, with only one or two light scratches to the shade which can’t be seen unless searched closely. Just 99 pence right now.
