This is an interesting car, with the Mini Shorty possibly a unique car too.
Here's the story according to the seller. The car is called Sammy and was built to be a character in a children's story series called The Adventures of Sammy Siren, but built as if this was how he came from the Austin factory in 1970. But it's still a working, road legal Mini, with a standard engine and the original gearbox. Just a lot smaller than a classic Mini.
The seller says 'Sammy' is registered as a historic car, so no road tax. It's also taxed and tested, ready to drive away, just as long as there's only two of you on board.
It's a fascinating car, with many more shots on the seller's page. Right now, the price is £1,500.
