The Slazenger Heritage collection continues to grow, with bags being the latest to be added to the company's range.
I'll be honest, I'm not blown away by most of them, the majority look trapped in some kind of modern/retro void. But look closely and to the right of the picture and you'll see two winners – a vintage-style holdall and a retro messenger bag, both of which keep it simple and authentic, with just the large logo as detail.
The rest may or may not appeal. You can get up-close to all of them in various colours on the Slazenger Heritage site soon, with prices from £29.99.
were Slazenger ever cool? i see vintage slazenger bags at car boots as recent as yesterday going unsold, no one wants them, whoever decided on this heritage line should have done thier research better.
Arond 5+ years back, original Slaz v-necks were sought after items and went for good money on the vintage circuit.
Not really sold on the reissue stuff. It’s ok, but not particularly interesting. Selling off your first collection cheap in Urban Outfitters probably hit a nail in the coffin before it really got started.
