The Terence Conran-designed Hector Bibendum table lamp offers an update on a familar shape.
This object celebrates not one, but two separate anniversaries. There's 21 years of the Original BTC Hector lamp, as well as the centenary of Michelin House which we mentioned earlier in the year. The Conran Shop was one of the first companies to stock Original BTC lighting and, to tie the two together, the bone china shade of the classic Hector lamp has been modified to reflect the well-known curves of the Michelin Man. The lamp is finished off with a contrasting coloured cable: pick from red or blue.
