The Fan Chair is Tom Dixon’s take on the classic Windsor chair.
Its high backed ‘fan’ is created using spindles of wood that have been bent to form the distinctive slatted silhouette. Pictured here is the chair with in a lacquered ash finish, but if you want something that moves a little further away from the classic look, then the indigo stained ash option might be of interest instead.
The chair costs £1,200 from Heal’s, although it is a special order item with a 3 to 5 week lead time.
