Tom Schneider’s Eclipse Sofa has an unusual elliptical shape, designed to show off the wood veneer, be it walnut, cherry, oak, ash or wenge.
The blurb describes the sofa as compact and ideal for hallways, receptions or bay windows, but living in a more modest sized home, I think it would be great in my lounge. It is available in two sizes: two-seater (H 85 W 180 D 60cm) or three-seater (H 85 W 220 D 75cm) and with a choice of upholstery and wood finishes. Prices start at £2,546 for a two-seater with microfiber fabric upholstery and go up to £3,310 for a three-seater with leather.
