If you're a fan of the bright retro designs of sixties and seventies tableware you'll appreciate this clever re-purposing of ceramics as jewellery.
Originally from the UK, designer Lucy King now lives in Melbourne, Australia, where she hunts out second-hand china to create her one-off pieces. Each pendant is carefully cut from a plate, hand-sanded and finished before being assembled into a unique piece of jewellery. The pendant featured is made from a British seventies dinner plate with the pattern name "Tyrol" and can be yours for £49.20.
