We have featured this in reissued form on the site in the past, but if you want a cheaper version of the space age classic, there's an Artemide Eclisse table lamp by Vico Magistretti on eBay right now.
It is a classic too, a miniature desk, table or bedside lamp, dating back to 1967, with the amount of light offered controlled by moving the shade to expose more of the lamp.
This example in orange is said to be from the early 1970s and is in 'perfect working order' and 'excellent' condition. There are said to be 'tiny losses' to the orange lacquer on the back, but nothing significant. The price right now is £7.50, compared to a reissue for around £100.
