Russian dolls were once something you might be given as a souvenir and were more popular in tourist shops rather than vintage. But recently they've popped back into the retro radar and seem to be almost everywhere. The design is in nearly every home ware shop in the UK and these lovely little cups are both useful and pretty. They're pretty durable too and made out of boro-silicate glass so likely to last for a while.
