If I didn’t already have a perfectly decent sofa and had a spare £6k, then I’d definitely be considering buying the Fritz Hansen Favn Sofa.
It is a modern piece by Spanish designer, Jaime Hayon, but its design owes more than a little to midcentury Danish style. Its name means Embrace in Danish, which is rather lovely. I’m particularly taken with the Moutarde colour as shown here, but it is available in a range of colours including chocolate, black and red.
As already mentioned, it comes with a hefty price tag – £6,129 from Nest.
