If you love the pop art style, but can’t quite stretch to a Peter Blake original, then Julia Trigg’s Signals Prints could be a good alternative.
Trigg’s work is based around her love of typographic ephemera with the Signals series being created from her collection of ham radio cards from 1920s to 1950s. The original letterpress printed cards were sent by post to confirm receipt of signals and always featured their call code using woodblock type. There are 18 designs to choose from, each limited to 100 copies. All of the prints are available in A2 size priced £180, although some designs are also available in A3 size for £120.
