We’ve mentioned Flensted Mobiles a couple of time in the past, but the uninitiated they are Danish company going back to the 1950s. This design Andersen’s Balloon Mobile has a heritage that goes further back.
The design consists of four silhouette cutouts of the early hotair balloons which is based on one of the many cutouts that Hans Christian Andersen left when he died in 1875. The design is available in bright colours with one balloon in red, green, blue and yellow, but I prefer the simplicity of this all black version.
