If you don't like the look of the frames available in your local opticians, you could go for something with a more vintage slant – the kind of thing offered by Jeepers Peepers eyewear.
It's a Scottish online retailer, headed up by Australian Annie Towler who sources new, updated versions of classic eyeglass frames and ready made reading glasses from the '40s, '50s and '60s for both men and women, as well as her own creations.
Some are traditional and classic, others push the boundaries considerably more. The style above is obviously one of the latter. From 'The Edge' Collection, 'Pussy Galore' is a handmade version of the classic 'Cat Eye' or 'Upswept' style, available in three colour combos – 'Puurrrr' (leopard print), 'Blush' (pink crystal tint with wood effect temple and 'Crystal' (clear crystal with tortoiseshell temples).
