When you think portable 1960s record players, Dansette is the first name that comes to mind. But others were making them too – and this reconditioned 1960s Bush SRP31 portable record player is a gem.
It has been reconditioned by Electroboogie, who have been sorting out portable players for 40 years. This one still packs that original look and with its valve amp, the sound is both true and authentic, described as 'very crisp' and with 'great bass production'.
On the player, you'll find the original branding, a four-speed Garrard autochanger deck (playing 16, 33, 45 and 78) and rotary controls for volume, tone and bass. The turntable, motor and all mechanisms have all been fully serviced and adjusted for correct operation. It has also been fitted with a new 3 amp plug.
Fancy it? Bidding right now is at £36.99. Many more images on the site.
