If you are hunting down a statement light for a retro room, this Peil & Putzler brown glass ceiling lamp could be worthy of consideration.
It's a very distinctive piece of lighting and very much from the 1970s. According the seller's description, it is constructed from a smoky transparent brown glass, cast with a 'wavy shape' at the bottom and embellished with deep grooves. There's also a gold metallic cylinder placed inside the lampshade, a gold circular metallic plate sitting on top of the lampshade and a black plastic ceiling cone. The original Peil & Putzler label is also still present.
The ceiling lamp is said to be in 'good condition' and in 'full working order'. There are age related scratches, blemishes and marks on the top metallic circular top plaque. There are also a few small chips along the top and bottom rims of the glass lampshade. However these 'do not distract from the overall look of the piece.'
