We featured the reissue of this as far back as 2008, but even a reissue isn't the cheapest of things. This Louis Poulsen Panthella table lamp by Verner Panton is said to be original – and right now, is cheap.
The lamp dates from 1970, a classic of space age design, with a shade made of high pressure moulded opal acrylic, with the supporting stand in high pressure moulded polycarbonate structure built around a steel stem.
The one here is the table version, which stands at 70cm high and is described as being in 'excellent condition', although to our eyes, age seems to have taken its toll on the stem – maybe that's the photo though. If you want to bid on it, the price right now is just one pence.
