Guzzini did make lighting for the high street in the late '60s and early '70s, with this original Guzzini floor lamp being one such design. It also comes with a starting price of just a penny, which is always a bonus.
Yes, we did feature Guzzini yesterday, but this is a very different beast. Not as desirable or distinctive as the higher-end Brumbury lamp, it's still an incredibly eye-catching piece, complete with a chromed stand and base, a shade (plastic) that's adjustable in height in the stem, a foot control and two bulb slots. It also has the original Guzzini label, which is nice to see.
According to the seller, condition is 'good;, with a couple of light marks on the shade and a few 'shallow scratches' on the chrome base. Doesn't sound like anything terminal. As we said, just one pence right now, so a potential bargain at the moment.
