Wanna play the guitar like Johnny Marr? If that's a 'yes', you'll need the kit to do it – something like this Fender Johnny Marr Jaguar Signature Model guitar.
It's a custom take on an early '60s classic – the original actually dates back to 1962 and rapidly made a mark on the surf music scene, later making something of a comeback on the alternative scene of the '80s and '90s. Which brings us to Johnny Marr, obviously.
According to Fender, unique to this instrument is a custom-wound Bare Knuckle single-coil neck and bridge pickups a custom-shaped maple neck with vintage-style truss rod, a lacquer finish and Marr's signature on the front of the headstock. There's four-position blade-style pickup switch mounted to the lower-horn chrome plate, two upper-horn slide switches, a Jaguar bridge with Mustang saddles, nylon bridge post inserts, a chrome cover and vintage-style floating tremolo tailpiece, along with a 'taller' tremolo arm with arm-sleeve nylon insert.
If all of that makes sense, you know more about guitars than we do. There's also a custom case available with blue crushed velvet interior, should you want to keep it safe. Available in Olympic White and Metallic KO, it should be on sale soon, price to be confirmed.
