How do you fancy some period art deco with a 1950s Americana interior? That's what you get with this two bedroom 1930s art deco semi-detached house in North Hayes, Middlesex.
The house, which was built in 1933, has been updated to bring out the original art deco look of the place from the outside (including putting back double-glazed versions of Crittall windows), but inside, it's a very different story. We've moved on a couple more decades.
The images explain it as well as I can, although much of the 'look' is probably down to fixtures and fittings. Essentially, this is still an art deco period property and if that's what you want, it shouldn't take much work to take out the '50s slant.
In terms of layout, the house has an entrance hall, living room and kitchen to the ground floor, with a 'floating' staircase leading up to a landing, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Outside, there's a driveway, with room for two cars, along with a garage/workshop, a rear garden, side and rear access, a patio area and mature trees.
The asking price for the house is £239,950.
